About One Home Care

One Home Care is an organisation that works to provide children with a safe and supportive home, staffed by specialised carers. They care for and house children who have experienced trauma and live with learning difficulties. They have multiple properties around the UK, with each home designed to help children feel safe in an environment that will allow them to unlock their full potential. 

Our Approach

When One Home Care moved into their new head office, they received unclear bills from their current provider and were unsure which meters they were responsible for. We carried out a full meter check, helping them identify all meters on site and confirming their responsibilities.

To make sure they were not charged for the previous tenants’ debt, we completed a change of tenancy for them. We then found the most competitive rates and set them up on a three-year contract.

The Results

They would have been on out-of-contract rates of £9,000 per year, and we managed to get them back under contract with a three-year fixed rate of £7,207.

That's a total saving of £5,379 over the next three years! A fully fixed contract gives them clarity, stability and long-term savings.
